ECM Ventures actively seeks investment opportunities in the transport & logistics, renewable energy, manufacturing / high-tech and services industries in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We are following a dual strategy assessing opportunities with established businesses as well as new ventures and are working together with our partners to assess and pursue investment opportunities. Depending on the size of the target ECM Ventures may act as single investor or as a co-investor. Our Investment Focus
- ECM Ventures actively seeks investment opportunities in the transport & logistics, manufacturing / high-tech and services industries in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. We are following a dual strategy assessing opportunities with established businesses as well as new ventures.
- Established business attractive to us are described by the following characteristics:
- Revenues between 50 and 200mn Euros
- EBITDA ranging from 5 to 20mn Euros
- Robust and sustainable business model
- Product and service offering well accepted in the market place
- Clearly defined growth strategy
- We are specifically interested in situations where owners / executive are seeking successors to realign their investment focus or retire
- At new ventures or innovative business ideas we are looking for
- Truly innovative concepts catering to new or unserved customer needs
- Talented and determined teams of entrepreneurs with the right skill mix
- Business cases which are both robust and ambitious to build a position
- Business models must be scalable to reach 20+mn Euro revenues quickly
- Initial equity requirements of 100k to 500k Euro
